Folkestone Arches

Folkestone Arches. The Folkestone Sunny Sands are bordered by the famous arches which front the Coronation Parade. The parade dates from the first half of the twentieth century. After the harbour this must be one of the most photographed areas of Folkestone. However, I noticed that most of the pictures were taken from the sand so I decided to scramble amongst the slippery rocks and use them as foreground interest. My Sigma 10-20mm lens was the perfect choice and my old Benbo tripod was brought into play. The versatility of this support in these conditions puts it above my other tripods.
