This is a close up macro detail of a narcissus, commonly known as the daffodil. This was taken using an enlarger lens on extension tubes fitted to a Nikon D7100 DSLR on a slidebar. The images were taken sequentially using the focus stacking method for enhanced depth of field. The focus stacked images were processed in Serif Affinity Photo software. This image won the Harold Greneger medal at the 40th Southern Cross Stereo Exhibition in Sydney, 2020.
