The first book in the series is called From The Darkness To The Light. This is an exercise in revisiting the past and comprises photographs which are derived from silver halide originals. Some pictures were merely cleaned up and presented as originally envisaged in the darkroom and others have been enhanced using digital techniques. At least one picture is seen for the first time in digital as the original negative proved difficult to print in the darkroom.
The title mirrors my progress from the darkroom in the twentieth century to the lightroom of the twenty first century.

For a couple of years now I have been compiling photobooks from family holidays. These are so much better than photo albums and should hopefully last longer. I am now working on photobooks of my serious photography.
